Whatever you write – fiction, nonfiction, or blog posts, you have a singular goal: to make the reader want to keep on reading. No matter what you are writing, there are all kinds of techniques to keep your reader hooked from one chapter to the next. In this workshop, we examine the best way to do this.

Elaine Ouston holds a Master of Letters in Creative Writing (MLitt) from Central Queensland University, and a Diploma of Graphic Art. She is a published author of a number of books for children.
She presents writing workshops, edits for other writers, and sets up books for self-publishing at Gondor Writers' Centre.
