Richard Polley was born in England and immigrated to
Australia with his parents when he was 8 years old.
After many years sojourning in three different states of Australia, plus New Zealand, he finally settled in the Northern Territory. Richard likes to potter in his garden where he grows many different tropical fruits, his other hobbies include, stamp collecting, travelling to parts of rural Australia, fishing and helping his friends with car repairs.
This book took Richard a couple of years to write, as he is dyslexic and found spelling difficult to understand and writing even harder. There was no support at school when he was growing up to help him with this problem. Richard’s efforts are a testimony to what can be achieved if one has the desire and motivation to learn.
